New and improved interior/exterior, direct to metal (DTM), water-based high gloss acrylic enamel designed for industrial maintenance and construction purposes. Use on machinery, farm implements, fixtures, conveyors, safety equipment, metal, wood, and doors. Provides excellent rust and corrosion resistance. Acceptable for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants. Use for safety colors for marking in industrial, construction, traffic areas. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and in sound condition. Remove all loose rust, paint, and any contamination to ensure adequate adhesion. For better adhesion, undercoat iron, steel, and aluminum with Do it Best waterborne primer. Allow a minimum of 6 months to weather galvanized steel before priming and topcoating. Masonry and block surfaces should be clean and dust-free and cured for at least 28 days; fill holes with block filler before topcoating. Apply with a synthetic brush, roller, or airless sprayer. Clean up with soap and water. Covers approximately 300 to 350 sq. ft. per gallon. Dries to touch 20 to 45 minutes or to recoat in 4 to 6 hours.
